What I’ve known intuitively for a long time—and what current research into brain development is proving—is that we humans are deeply social creatures. We need relationships with one other to learn, to grow, to heal. In-person relationships are profound. And, I’ve found that turning to insights, inspirations, new thoughts, and shared experiences from others via their written words can also be extremely healing and supportive.
